The Coding Source's CPC Training Program

How long does it take?
- 14 weeks of instruction, depending on the class schedule you choose

What does it cost?
The standard cost of the course is $2,200 although this price is subject to change. The course tuition includes:
- Instruction from professional, experienced coders
- The Professional Medical Coding Curriculum Student Manual
- AAPC membership
- A 1-day, CPC exam preparatory class
Required textbooks must be purchased separately (approximately $250):
- CPT 2006 Professional Edition
- ICD-9 2006 Professional Edition
- 2006 HCPCS
- Tabers Medical Dictionary, 20th Edition
The Coding Source will proctor the
CPC exam. The $250 CPC exam fee is not included.
Payment Policies
Upon enrollment, a deposit is required to hold your spot in the
class. Personal payment plans are available, please call office
for details. Payment may be made by personal check or major
credit card. Tuition must be paid off before the end of the program.

The borrower must 1) be employed and have a gross annual salary
that can support the amount an individual applies for. 2) Have at
least 3 open lines of credit on their credit report. Based on the
terms of Sallie Mae, the student will get approved for the loan
amount within 24 hours of submitting an application. The student
also has the option of becoming approved for a loan through a co

The Coding Source is extremely committed to the individuals who
are interested in making this commitment to enhance their careers
and increase job knowledge. We understand the financial issues involved
with this type of commitment. Our staff will work hard to try to
accommodate each individual's financial situation, so please do
not hesitate to call and find out additional details. Payment plans
are available.
Attendance Policy
Due to the intensive nature of this training course and our commitment
to training students capable of passing the CPC exam, students must
be in class over 85% of the total class hours in order to receive
a certificate of completion from The Coding Source. If more than
15% of the total class time is missed, the missing sessions may
be taken during our next available training course for a per session
fee of $100. No exceptions will be made to this policy.
